Executive Leadership
Leading complex operations, developing teams, and connecting organizational strategy to the daily experiences of employees and communities.
Leadership in practiceWhy can two people experience the same organization and leave with completely different stories?

BRITER is where my organizational intelligence, leadership, culture, and workplace psychology work lives. Rooted & Becoming is a distinct faith-rooted space for scripture, identity, alignment, and becoming.

I am an executive leader, organizational psychologist, researcher, facilitator, and coach. My work sits where leadership, identity, culture, human capability, and organizational systems meet.
I have spent years leading people and operations inside nonprofit organizations. That experience taught me that the number is rarely the whole story. Behind every result are people interpreting what happened, conditions shaping what was possible, and leaders deciding what deserves attention.
My graduate work in industrial-organizational psychology gave language and evidence to questions I had been carrying for years. My doctoral research continues that work by examining how significant organizational experiences shape the way leaders make meaning and understand themselves.
I did not build it from the sidelines. Its tools have been shaped by real teams, consequential decisions, organizational pressure, feedback, learning, and the responsibility of leading people through work that does not arrive neatly packaged.
The answer was deeper than communication, personality, or leadership skill.
People make meaning from experiences differently. Those interpretations shape identity. Identity shapes behavior. Behavior shapes culture. Culture shapes the outcomes an organization is finally judged by.
That realization was the seed. Over time it grew into leadership development, reflective coaching, organizational systems, books, assessments, workbooks, microtrainings, leadership institutes, executive facilitation, and research. These were never separate ideas. They grew from the same belief: what happens beneath the surface of an organization determines what rises above it.
BRITER exists to help leaders understand what is happening beneath the surface so they can create healthier people, healthier systems, and healthier organizations.
This work is grounded in leading organizations, developing people, and studying what happens between intention and experience.
